loaded into the feeding bins according to its size and transferred to
the RAP Tower by means of dosing belts and bucket elevators. The
material is then weighed precisely in an electronic scale and fed into
the mixer gently and smoothly at each batch at the pre-determined amount
based on many factors such as humidity and temperature of the virgin
aggregates, humidity of the recycled material, type of hot mix to be
produced, etc. The steam, which emerges in the mixer during the
encounter of the cold RAP and overheated original aggregates, is
aspirated by a special suction system and fed to the filter.
